USA CHAMPION KAYENTA LA PALOMA OF ROSELU
"Raine"
1981-1997
One of the first Maine Coon imports to
arrive in the UK, Raine's name lies behind over 1200 British bred Maine Coons. She certainly helped to establish the breed in the UK.
Raine joined the Keverstone Household in 1989, when her previous owner emigrated and she lived as a happy neuter with us until she died at the age of 16 years.
She was such a gentle loving cat, a trait which she passed to her offspring.

JANINE
Our first show cat
Janine was born to a feral cat in the grounds of a disused hospital. When her mother became
unwell, she was hand-reared and just loved
human company.
She loved to be shown, and used to love an
audience. Her favourite place was someone's shoulder--maybe she thought she was a parrot!

CANCOON APACHE GIRL
"Patches"

Patches was another special girl, with a larger than life character. She adored people and would spend hours on knees if she could. Her other
occupation was to patrol the bathroom, especially if someone was in there, in the hope that they would turn on the tap for her to play with the
water. The bathroom is less fun without her around.
We are lucky to have her son, Ch & Gr Pr
Keverstone Buffalobill, living just a couple of miles down the road with Lee & Nikki Oliver.

MARIE
Found in a pet shop, Marie was a very pretty little kitten, with a most unusual coat colour and pattern, which enabled her to win "Most Unusual Cat" at a number of shows.
Marie loved to jump and would forget that the world existed when feather teasers were being waved about.

SOLKATZ LUCIANO P
1984-2000

Born in November 1984, Solkatz Luciano P, known as Charlie, came to the UK in 1985, one of the first Maine Coons to step onto British shores. In the early days, when there were few stud cats, Charlie produced a number of kittens.
He joined the Keverstone household in 1990, and his name appears in a many Maine Coon pedigrees, although it may be several generations back.

Charlie was neutered in 1993, and spent the next seven years having a very spoilt life in our home.
He was a legend in his own lifetime.
