SHOWING SUCCESSES

We started showing our Maine Coons in 1989, travelling as far north as Glasgow and as far south as London. Very often in the early days we had the only Maine Coons in the show! That's a far cry from today when most shows have an entry of between 20 and 50, with the Maine Coon Cat Club show having up to 150 in compeition!

As the breed progressed from Prelimiary (Merit) through Provisional (Intermediate) to Full Championship Status, Keverstone Maine Coons have been on the show bench every step of the way, campaigning for the breed.
Since 1994, when Championship Status began, Keverstone Maine Coons have been awarded 54 GCCF titles including Grand Champion, Grand Premier, Champion, Premier and the Uk Grand Premier, a special title only awarded at the Supreme Show. We are also very proud of Keverstone Flameangel, who left us to live in America with Melissa Schmidtt. This girl (right) was Best Female Maine Coon Kitten & 2nd Best Maine Coon Kitten in the association in 2000 and went on to become a Double Grand Champion in ACFA, before becoming a mother.
Probably our most famous show winner was Gr Ch & Uk Gr Pr Keverstone Yankee Girl. She was GCCF's first Champion, Grand Champion, Grand Champion & Grand Premier and Uk Grand Premier. You can read more about her in our "Friends Remembered" Section.
Another special winner was USA Quad Gr Ch & GCCF Gr Pr Lawmaine Stripes Again. This very special biy was loved on both sides of the Atlantic with a number of Best in Show wins. You can read more about him in our "Friends Remebered" section.
